St. Thomas Aquinas
He was a priest/doctor and was born and raised in the Roman Catholic Church. He was a very influential filoshopher and a very important priest. Thomas is held in the Catholic Church to be the model teacher for those studying
for the priesthood, and indeed the highest expression of both natural reason and
speculative theology. St. Thomas was one of the greatest and most influential theologians of all time.
He was canonized in 1323 and declared Doctor of the Church by Pope Pius V.
